Each week we update our fundraising work plan and the following day we discuss it with representatives of the Chippewas of the Thames, to hear their ideas and obtain their approval.

DONATIONS AT EVENTS - TO DATE

Members of Toronto350 raised $1600 at the September 19th presentation by Naomi Klein in Toronto. She referred to the Supreme Court of Canada case during her talk and encouraged the audience to "give generously to those people with the buckets."

We also distributed 500 flyers that provide information about the campaign, along with the gofundme web page. We are expecting additional donations online by people who attend events where we collect donations.

Since then we have collected as follows:

. (via the International Socialists) $511.64 at Maude Barlow's talk at Trinity St. Paul's Church, September23, 2016.

. This was followed by a collection at an International Socialists meeting on September 25th, of $150.00. 

. October 1 "Decent Jobs" rally, collected $431.75

. October 2 Climate Change Film Series, collected $800.00

. October 10, Idle No More round dance and protest Yonge & Dundas, collected $165.65

. October 12, International Socialists panel with Crystal Sinclair and Myeengun Henry, collected $1,135.00

. October 18, David Suzuki spoke at Planet In Focus film series, collected $172.30

. October 19, Avi Lewis spoke at OPSEU hall, collected $172.30 in bucket (and OPSEU Toronto Area Council pledged $250)

.November 1, Ellen Gabriel - Climate Change and Indigenous sovereignty - Ryerson - collected $274.00

. November 3-5 at OISE - Decolonizing Conference, collected $112.85

. November 5 Standing Rock Rally  - collected $46.25 (not actively bucketing out of respect for SR, but people donated anyway)

. November 13 Make racists Afraid rally  - collected $159.10

. November 19 Anti-Trump rally November 19th - collected $80.00

. November 19th fundraising dinner raised $5,587.00

. November 19th donations at anti-Trump rally $80.00

. November 20th political theatre organized by Rising Tide and theatre partners raised $1,565.00
