Indigenous Waterways Forum

The Indigenous Waterways event will raise awareness, build connections, and strengthen the capacity of Toronto’s diverse communities to take action by providing an indigenous approach on relating to and caring for our watersheds. Hear keynote speakers, participate in discussion groups and traditional Indigenous ceremonies on the theme of water and healing. Speakers will include:
  - Josephine Mandamin, Ojibwe Grandmother and Water Walker
  - Pauline Shirt, Plains Cree Elder
  - Ed Sackaney, Knowledge & Wisdom Keeper at George Brown College
  - Kim Wheatley, Anishinaabe Cultural Consultant
  - Doug Anderson, Naadmaagit Ki Group
  - Rocky Carter, Founder, Bear Standing Tall & Associates
