Join the People's Climate Intervention

When: 11am on Sunday, 17th August
Where: Bloor and Brunswick in Futures Bakery
What: Petition drive for the PCI
Food: Yes! FREE lunch!
Why: Because the Harper government is ignoring climate!

On August 17th, we will be holding our first 2014 petition drive day, supporting the People's Climate Intervention campaign against the Energy East pipeline.  Put this day in your calendars and come out to help us get petition signatures!

The petition drive is in support of the larger 350.org campaign: 350.org/energyeast. The People's Climate Intervention is a grassroots movement to demand accountability from the National Energy Board as it begins its review of the Energy East pipeline.  We will be meeting at 11:00 AM at Bloor and Brunswick in Futures Bakery and Cafe on the south-west corner.  We will be conducting outreach until approximately 4:00 PM. 

Petitions, clipboards, and pens will be provided, as will lunch.  We look forward to having you join us for this important next step in building Canada's climate movement.
