About Toronto350.org
Toronto350.org is a local network affiliate of the international 350.org founded by Bill McKibben. We work to promote leadership in climate action. We are building a global, grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis.
We started in June 2012. We have planning meetings every Tuesday night, 6:30pm - 8:30pm at the Steelworker's Hall, 25 Cecil St (near College and Spadina). Email ac@toronto350.org to double check the meeting location.
At our planning meetings we work collaboratively to direct the organization and its campaigns. We give our members the opportunity to self-actualize by taking over the direction of a wide range of activities. If climate change concerns you, join us!

Toronto350.org lobbies municipal and federal leaders. We support youth action, calling on campuses to mitigate their climate impact.
We advocate for zero-carbon energy options and have called for a full stop to investment in fossil fuel reserves, infrastructure and extraction.
We engage in creative direct action, educational events, online campaigns and direct contact with decision-makers.
We strive always to provide useful tools and rigorous and scholarly analysis for use at the grassroots level throughout the broader climate movement.
