Recently, Professor Andrew Dessler, the Director of the Texas Centre for Extreme Weather, was interviewed on CBC's What on Earth podcast. In his interview Professor Dessler explained that climate change is not a scientific problem or a technical problem, and that we know largely how to produce energy without fossil fuels. Climate change really is a political problem. He went on to say, "It takes getting politically involved. Make sure you vote. Make sure you support candidates who care about the environment."
